• Payment Information: When you purchase a batch, our payment processor (Razorpay) handles your payment details. We do not store full card information on our servers.
• Usage Data: Watch progress, quiz attempts, live class attendance, comments, and other interactions.
• Quiz Proctoring Data: To ensure academic integrity, we may log tab switches, copy/paste actions, and right-click events during assessments.

• Provide, operate, and maintain our platform and services.
• Process payments and enroll you in purchased batches.
• Grant access to assigned groups, live classes, and course content.
• Send notifications about upcoming classes, comments, and new content.
• Display performance analytics such as attendance and quiz scores.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only in these limited ways:

• Educators & Admins: Instructors and administrators can view your performance data (attendance, quiz scores) for monitoring and support.
• Other Students: Your username may be visible in comments, live chat, and leaderboards.
• Service Providers: We use trusted third parties for payments (Razorpay), hosting, and email notifications. They process data only on our behalf.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of DevSikho and its users.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, bcrypt hashing for passwords, JWT-based authentication tokens, and signed URLs for streaming content. While we take every precaution, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
